Context
Faced with challenges related to menstrual insecurity and the impacts of armed conflicts, 200 vulnerable girls aged 13 to 15 benefited from dignity kits. This initiative aims to improve their menstrual hygiene, reduce school absenteeism, and strengthen their self-confidence in a safer and more inclusive educational environment.
Objective
Contribute to the improvement of well-being, menstrual hygiene, and school retention of vulnerable girls aged 13 to 15, affected by armed conflicts in Goma city and Nyiragongo territory.
Results achieved
- 200 dignity kits distributed to vulnerable girls
- Improved menstrual hygiene and reduced school absenteeism
