Unity in diversity for peace and development

An organization composed of 80% women and 20% men, originating from socio-economic, political, and cultural community challenges, especially economic vulnerability, leadership crises, manipulation, stereotypes, and other human rights violations affecting African women. Convinced that through the active solidarity of women and youth with eagle vision, proactive spirit, and transformational leadership, equipped with managerial and entrepreneurial skills across multisectoral domains, the communities of DRC, particularly the eastern part affected by identity, economic and political conflicts that influence the proliferation of armed groups, gain access to effective and sustainable solutions for orphans, widows, people with disabilities, the elderly, and all children in conflict with the law. Active participation of women and youth in the development process through awareness, critical thinking, positive spirit, and emulation aiming for positive impact, organization of research-actions, participation through clubs or interactive exchange spaces, conferences-debates with digital integration, will improve living conditions of African communities, particularly in DRC. At the top, changing community mentality for resilience and political and governance system change remains crucial. Projects, programs, and plans are participatively designed to address various problems that continuously plunge Congolese, regional, and African communities into chaos. Human resources involved in design, project implementation, and fund mobilization are mostly women (80%) and young men (20%) with undeniable experience. They are (must be) people of good morality, without discrimination, willing to create positive change, proactive, and promoting peace and development. Highly skilled in entrepreneurial, educational, economic, tourism, ecological, agro-food, judicial, transformational leadership, governance, and conflict resolution, for a stable Congo, Africa, and world. Natural resources, fauna, and flora of DRC are socio-economic development opportunities to be exploited for community well-being. DRC being geologically rich and touristically attractive, it's time for investors and entrepreneurs, large and small, from all over the world to enrich themselves and the communities sitting on gold, fertile soil, and resource-rich waters. Pulling these Congolese, African, and global communities out of socio-economic vulnerability is a resilient and effective solution for community stability. Government hospitality and cooperation, and active involvement of other humanitarian-minded actors, add value in FED's community development process. The success story of Women Entrepreneurs for Development "FED" focuses on meeting community needs, providing solutions to identified, felt, and prioritized problems for genuine beneficiary testimonials. Collaboration with other actors for bilateral humanitarian actions, respecting principles, standards, accountability, and humanitarian commitments, and monitoring prevention of abuse and sexual exploitation justify FED as an organization faithful to its mission.
