Context

As part of the project promoting menstrual health and school retention, 200 vulnerable girls aged 13 to 15, affected by armed conflicts in Goma city and Nyiragongo territory, received school kits. This action aims to support their reintegration and continued schooling despite socio-economic and security challenges.

Objective

Contribute to the school reintegration and well-being of vulnerable girls, survivors or victims of the M23 armed conflicts, aged 13 to 15, through the distribution of school kits in Goma city and Nyiragongo territory.

Results achieved

  • 200 school kits distributed to vulnerable girls
  • Reduction in school dropout rates linked to precarious conditions
  • Active participation of local authorities and educational leaders
